Hello! My name is Luzilda Sanchez. This will be my 8th year teaching and my first year teaching at Rufino Mendoza. I am so excited to be teaching 1st grade this year! I graduated with a bachelor’s degree in interdisciplinary studies from the University of North Texas and a Master of Business Administration from Tarleton State University. I enjoy running, traveling, and spending time with my family. 

¡Hola! Mi nombre es Luzilda Sánchez. Este será mi octavo año de maestra y mi primer año enseñando en Rufino Mendoza. ¡Estoy muy emocionada de enseñar 1er grado este año! Me gradué con una licenciatura en estudios interdisciplinarios de la Universidad del Norte de Texas y una Maestría en Administración de Empresas de la Universidad Estatal de Tarleton. Disfruto correr, viajar y pasar tiempo con mi familia.

Alex Fitzgerald

My name is Alex Fitzgerald, and I’m so excited to begin another year teaching 3rd grade at Rufino Mendoza! This will be my fifth year teaching and my fourth year at Rufino. I graduated from Stephen F. Austin State University in May 2020. Teaching is my greatest passion, and I’m looking forward to reconnecting with former students and getting to know my new ones.

In my free time, I love to read, travel, and spend time with my friends and family. This is going to be an amazing year, and I can’t wait to see all the wonderful things we’ll accomplish together!

¡Me llamo Alex Fitzgerald y estoy muy emocionada de comenzar otro año enseñando 3.er grado en Rufino Mendoza! Este será mi quinto año como maestra y mi cuarto año en Rufino. Me gradué de la universidad Stephen F. Austin State en mayo de 2020. La enseñanza es mi mayor pasión, y estoy deseando volver a ver an mis antiguos alumnos y conocer a los nuevos. En mi tiempo libre, me encanta leer, viajar y pasar tiempo con mis amigos y mi familia. ¡Este va a ser un año increíble y no puedo esperar a ver todas las cosas maravillosas que lograremos juntos!
